Popped in here 3 times in 3 days whilst staying at the Hilton Hotel just up the road. Great place for a few local brews - no food when we were in there but Beth said you could order elsewhere and bring it in to eat !! Not many places happy to do that. Beth is a little dynamo !! Didn't stop rushing around all the time we were in there - lovely weather when we were there so the front windows open up and you feel you are practically sitting on the pavement (sorry sidewalk!!) Plenty of TVs to watch sport but we preferred to sip and play scrabble/jenga etc etc Thanks for your hospitality Beth and hope to pop in again soon !!
Went here on a Thursday night with a few colleagues. We really enjoyed it! Staff was very nice and the happy hour specials ($4 beers, etc.) were certainly priced right for a team outing. They also will let you order-in food from other places. Wasn't too busy while we were there--a good vibe but not a scene. They have a great selection of board games and we rented Scrabble and had a great time socializing while we played it. Nothing fancy, but was a good time for a great price.
We stopped at Boardroom after a long day of sightseeing. It was packed, but there were still games available to rent. Very fun atmosphere with everyone playing games with friends, drinking pitchers of beer and hanging out. No food, but the pizza place next door will deliver to your spot at the bar.
