Surfing is really fun, once you try it, you're completely hooked. I spent a weekend at Wanning Riyue Bay, having an outdoor sports week! I chose Aloha Surf Shop on a friend's recommendation, nervous and excited, I never thought it would be so fun~ Here are some tips: 1️⃣If you want to avoid getting tanned, try to choose classes at 8 am or 5 pm. We were so busy that we only signed up for one class (at 8 am, we got up at 6:30 am for surfing). As we expected, two hours of surfing was not enough, we were not satisfied, so we decided to take another class. I suspect it was between 10 am and 12 pm that we got tanned; 2️⃣Beginners are advised to go to Sanya Houhai or Wanning Shimei Bay. We bravely chose Wanning Riyue Bay (the national surfing base, where the waves are the biggest). At 8 am, it was still low tide, but by 10 am, we had to use all our strength to hold onto the surfboard, with waves crashing over our heads (it's very physically demanding, but you don't feel it because your body cools down quickly in the water); 3️⃣The action of getting on the board while surfing must be practiced a lot on land to form muscle memory. When you actually get on the board, your eyes should be looking forward. If you keep looking down at your stance, you will easily lose balance; 4️⃣Don't rush, I fell many times because I was in a hurry.
