Worth a quick visit
If you have paid for the Volterra pass it is worth passing through the alabaster museum and taking in the exhibits along with the religious art museum next door.

An afternoon treat
This is a wonderful cool interesting place to visit. History and lots of explanation accompanying exhibits.
