Was pretty cool to stop in amd see for the first time, id recommended at least once even if its in passing, was a nice tribute to my favorite dogs

well, yeah. it is exactly that.

not a destination, but we walked past it and stopped and read the signage. Worth a stop, not a drive.

Yes it is an official recognition of the loyal (ie quite aggressive), Azores Dog in a municipal statue. Very limited interest factor. Move on - nothing to see here.

Statue of a dog, seen from the bus several times. Just an average statue, tho maybe the important part is to remind and inform people of this Sao Miguels own dog breed!
