It's an excellent place to go for the first time, the dam is beautiful and has some local stores to buy craftsmanship souvenirs.

Vale do rossim, is a big lagoon with a cafe bar and some sand spots for people to enjoy. Its one of the most quiet and beautiful spots of serra da estrela where you can engage with the sounds of natur...
Amazing place to go on a hot day
Like an Oasis, this place is just about to save you after spending time in the Mountains with the sun burning your head. Water is warm and amazing.
Worth a dam?
A stunning setting but the surrounding tourist shops and bar are very daggy. Worthwhile stopping for some photos but would not recommend eating or having a beer there.
Superb Natural Site
Located at the height of the Serra da estrela the Lac Represa de Vale Rossim is just beautiful, depaysing ... a d'air buffer! We were there in family to spend a part of the day there, p...
