From November to March each year, the best whale watching point is the line from Kalpitiya on the west coast to Galla on the south coast. From June to September, the sea off Tricomalee on the east coast. Usually the east coast goes to sea in Trincomalee, and the south coast goes to sea from the port of Miboza or Galle. This change is due to changes in monsoon wind direction and whale cruise routes, such as the chance of seeing whales on the east coast between November and March.

The dive trip to Trincomalee is still calm, but the road to the sea is not so comfortable! A few meters high waves pushed the boat up and down, and almost everyone on the boat spit out stomach fluids. Fortunately, I insisted on taking pictures of whales and dolphins alone, which was still worth it!
The scenery is beautiful, the ecology is also very good, a good experience.
Fewer people than Mereza, though far away.
