worth a visit
on our way back to the hotel, we walked by the museum. It was very much worth a visit. The volunteers were hospitable and the museum was full of history. glad we stopped!
We had a wonderful time in the museum. Very imformational about the area and Montana. Didn't realize there was that many types of barbed wire. Go if you have the time you'll enjoy it.
We were staying at the Sacajawea Hotel and walked over. Free admission but donations accepted and we donated. Good local history and well displayed. The lady working was friendly and informative.
A perfect museum in a small, quaint town. It is doing a great job at perserving the local history of the town, its people and the surrounding areas. A must do if you come to Three Forks. Small donation...
I especially liked looking at their collection of different Barbed wires. Go to the upstairs part first if you want to see this. Enjoyed talking to the ladies who staffed the museum. So many artifacts...
