Kind of neat to think it's the largest hand-planted forest
It's not much to see, but if you are driving around Nebraska, it's a scenic area. I'm sure the camping and hiking is good for people interested in those activities.
Slightly disappointed the visitor center was closed for Covid reasons..... Even so, the ranger opened the window enough to give me a map to the forest roads/trails ;-) Probably not the best time to...
