What travelers say:

Zhiye Pagoda, also known as Golden Stone, is a famous Buddhist pilgrimage site in Mont Santos, Myanmar. It is a small 7.3 meter 24 feet pagoda built on granite covered with gold leafs by male disciples. According to legend, golden stone is lying on the hair of the Buddha. Grilled sharp, the balanced stone seems to resist gravity, because the stone seems to always roll down from the hillside. The stone and pagoda are located on the top of Zhiyeo Mountain. Another legend has that the Buddhist monks impressed the heavenly king by his meditation, and the king of heaven is Using his surreal power to carry the stone to its current position, specially selecting a stone that looks similar to the Buddha's head. It is the third important pilgrimage place in Myanmar after the Shwedagon Pagoda and Maha Muni Pagoda. It is a must if you are in the area. .
