My first visit ever here after 41 years: what's the big deal about this place?
It's a street. It has stores on it . There are cars that go by and park. People walk on the street and some look at store windows. Some even go inside the stores. So what's the big deal about this...
Interesting street heading down to the beach, with an atmosphere a bit like Bastille in Paris. Cool boutique shops and eateries etc. Very pleasant cafe at number 17.
I visited Carmel Market first then was told that i would find a good nail parlour on this Street..and I did, it was called Lak Perfect. Mani and Pedi...very nice indeed, good work done on my feet whic...
On our first visit in Tel Aviv, still in 1993 this street was a real shopping paradise. Today it lost its former charme, much less good shop, and even the cofés and restaurants are less.

Cool place

busy and fun ...
a long street connecting Allenby with Rothschild, filled with smaller shops and restaurants, very nice to walk and less touristic than Shalom Shabatzi
Not any more what it was before
