Hometown of Yue Fei

Yuefei's hometown is in Chenggang Village, Caiyuan Town, 30 miles east of Tangyin County. Every year on Yuefei's birthday, Tangyin County will hold a grand sacrifice and  to express the memory and admiration of the people of his hometown for this national hero. In recent years, Tangyin County has repaired Yuefei's former house, Yue's ancestors and Yuefei Temple, making Yuefei's hometown a place for patriotic education.

Yuefei Temple, located in Tangyin County, Henan Province, No. 86 Yuemiao Street, also known as Jingzhong Temple, later also known as "Song Yuezhong Wuwang Temple", is a well-preserved Ming and Qing ancient buildings. The exterior of the scenic spot is rectangular, with rigorous layout, superb architecture, majestic hall, beautiful pavilions, towering cypresses, and monuments.

The gate of the scenic spot was later expanded. The old house at the original gate of Yuefeijia was built in the Ming Dynasty and is still there. The original residence has two floors of courtyards, the front yard is a hall house and a hall, and the backyard is restored according to the records. There are mother-in-law living residences, east-west wing rooms, kitchens. On the east side of the former residence is the newly built yard, temple, and monument forest. Opposite the old house, on the other side of the village road, there are kneeling statues of Qin Yu and his wife, facing Yuejia, and forever being scolded by the world. Compared with Yuefei Temple in Tangyin, the former residence is much worse. The villagers sitting in front of the door were full of sunbathing, and they saw me take out the camera and stood up and left very politely. In the former residence, there were locals coming to the incense burning paper, and the tourists were me alone. From Tangyin or Anyang, the distance to Yuefei's hometown is about 17 or 8 kilometers. Anyang taxi out of the city chartered 70 yuan for 1 hour, I chartered a taxi from Anyang. Tangyin County has a bus to Chenggang Village in the direction of Caiyuan Town. There is a Yuefei hometown road sign at the entrance of Chenggang Village on the 302 provincial road. After getting off the bus, walk about 1 km. The fare is 20 yuan. There are regular tickets. Self-driving car is more convenient, free carpooling is cost-effective, and it is more convenient to take the bus as long as there is plenty of time.

Environmental sanitation is good, classical atmosphere

The scenery here is so beautiful! The spring water is clear like a mirror, and the mountains are full of colorful wild flowers. It is really like a beautiful landscape painting against the blue sky and white clouds.
