It is on the way from JR Iwaki Tanakura Station to Chokuji Temple and Uka Shrine. Founded as Manpukuji Temple in 1087. Moved to its current location in 1624 and renamed Kannonji Temple. The principal image is the Holy Kanzeon Bosatsu. Since the main hall was rebuilt in 2006, the history of the temple is completely unfeelable.
