It was a temple and museum. Although there is a bell tower instead of a temple style on the mainland, it has an atmosphere that blends into the houses of the island. There were few visitors due to the fact that the number of tourists was decreasing sharply.

It seems that some of the temples are the exhibition places. Seeing the admission fee 300 yen, I didn't feel like entering, so I ended up looking at the temple from the outside.

A folk museum in the village of Taketomi Island. Folk tools from Taketomi Island collected by individuals are on display. The admission fee is 300 yen, and there is a small temple in the back of the museum.

Looking at the exterior, it looked like a temple. However, it didn't seem that anyone was in it, and I thought I didn't have to bother to enter, so I looked at it from an unexpected point of view.

I arrived at Kihoin shortly after walking from Taketomi Folk Art Museum. It was said that if you pay 300 yen at the southernmost temple in Japan, you can see the collections collected by the priest, but it was a little difficult to enter, so I couldn't enter.
