Small ruin castle
The location was easy to find. Walk from car park was short. The castle was soon seen, because the it was very small.
Lovely village great scenery
Ballinafad castle is in a very picturesque village, Ballinafad, views of lough Arrow are amazing. Pint in The Mayfly is a must especially early evening when the locals go for a delicious pint of Guinn...
A lovely ruin
There is no fee associated with this ruin. It is set up on a slight hill and is in fairly good condition for a ruin. Expect to spend about 30 minutes here and enjoy the history behind it.
Historic Ruins
This castle holds interesting history. However, contrary to what the previous reviewer has stated, it is in complete ruin, there is no fee, and there isn't any visitor centre for a film to be watched....
