Wat Leu Temple

WatLeu Temple is located about 6 kilometers from the city center and is the representative of the 5 major temples in Sihanoukville. WatLeu Temple features a three-headed white elephant deity carved out of a stone wall. On the head of the White Elephant God sit three Buddha statues. This temple is characterized by its golden gleaming colors and orthodox traditional Cambodian architecture in the setting sun. There is a huge Buddha statue in front of the steps to enter the temple, built with mysterious black stone bricks.
