Ta Keo

The Tea Glue Temple, located outside the Victory Gate of Angkor City, is an Indian King Kong Pagoda temple dedicated to Shiva. The Tea Glue Temple is not decorated much, which makes it special in many buildings.

Another great temple in the middle of the Angkor grounds. Quite a scenic ride to get to, and a slightly difficult/dangerous climb to get to the top. Recommended.

TaKeo Temple (Ta Keo translated as Ta Gao Temple) is located in the east of Angkor City and northwest of Ta Bu Mun Temple. It is a diamond throne Pagoda Temple in Angkor. The Chajiao Temple was originally built for itself at the age of 17 by Emperor Hanyebama V. However, during the construction process, the temple was struck by lightning, which was definitely an unknown evil omen under the belief system of the God King at that time. Although the priests later carried out relevant religious ceremonies to dispel the devil, the construction of the Chajiao Temple was eventually abandoned halfway and the decoration process was completed. It stopped working at that time. If completed, Chajiao Temple is undoubtedly the most beautiful and powerful temple in Angkor Grottoes. Because Chajiao Temple is the first temple built entirely from sandstone.

Special temples can wash your soul!

If you choose a day trip to Siem Reap, you will probably visit the temple. Otherwise, maybe you should consider skipping it and visiting other more beautiful temples. The temple is in the top ten, so it is included in the first day of the trip. To make the most of our days in Siem Reap, and with many temples to visit, we have to plan the days carefully and visit the temples in an orderly manner. Taprun Temple is one of the most famous temples (the third one we went to) If you don't participate in the daily tour, or have limited time, then I don't recommend you to go to this temple specifically. Because I prefer a lot of other places, if only for one day, other places are more worth visiting...
