It is said that it was built by Sakanoue Tamuramaro in 807. Relocated to the current location (the site of Ninomaru of Shiraishi Castle) in 1900. The deity is Amaterasu Omikami. The guardian of Shiraishi Castle, the total guardian of the territory. There is one torii gate near the ruins of the Masashiguchi gate of Shiraishi Castle, and there are two torii gates (built in 1996) up the gentle stone steps from there. The Shinmon is part of the Uchitamagaki Mimon, which was given at the time of the 60th Shikinen Sengu (1973) of Ise Jingu.
