It is open in an area just off the sea side from Togashima Cathedral. The neatly lined graves remind us of the old days called hidden Christians.

This graveyard is located on the beach, a little down from the island Catholic Church. Now there are only four houses in this village. Moreover, it is said that only one or two of them have believers, so the flowers provided are artificial flowers. I think it's much better than nothing. When you look at this graveyard right next to the sea, you can think of various thoughts.

It is on the way from Kazugashima Catholic Church to the bus stop. A graveyard standing in the sandy area on the sea side. A unique stone monument that looks like a cross on a normal grave. In the middle of May, when I visited, the pink pine buckwheat was in full bloom and the contrast with the sea was beautiful. It was quietly blooming as if wrapping the graves of believers who had endured the suffering.
