A gem
This is Temple 37 of the 88 Shikoku Pilgrimage route. You can easily walk here from the train station. As you climb up the stairs to get into the temple, you can see stone pillars with the name of don...
Beautiful temple, it's so colourful and well kept. Make sure to check out the ceiling in the main hall, it's gorgeous! There are some facilities on site if needed, washroom, dining room, laundry etc.
The 37th Temple enshrining the principal image of the five statues
Original Text
A temple enshrining the five principal image of Fudo Myo statue, Kannon Bosatsu statue, Amida Nyorai statue, Yakushi Nyorai statue, and Jizo Bosatsu statue, which are built in the alley from National Highway 381. Although the precincts are not wide, there are main hall, Daishi Do hall, and shukubo.
The site area is not that large, but there were many unique buildings and objects, and it was full of highlights. All of the temples seemed to have a history and had a dignified appearance. On the other hand, the face of the statue of Nio at Niomon was somewhat anime-style. When I entered the main hall and looked up at the ceiling, tiles (?) With pictures of about 25 cm squares were tightly laid on the ceiling. It was quite spectacular. This is a temple I would like to recommend.
It is a pilgrimage temple with the mountain name and INGO of Mt. Fujii Gochiin.

It is a temple of Shikoku Sacred Ground No. 37 Banfudasho, but there are two principal imagery of ceiling paintings and 5, and there is no benefit like Happo Bijin. It is a temple that left an impression on me that I can even think of. The temple itself is an old temple in the old temple of the founding 1300 year 々, but the temple tower was not impressive. The distance to Kongofukuji Temple in the next pilgrimage temple is about 94km, which is one of the longest in the sacred place.
