Worth a trip to when in Sheffield of a piece of local history. Elliott was a local dignitary and this is a lovely statue of him and set against the war memorial too.
Once much loved in the city, Ebenezer Elliott deserves to be researched and remembered. Not the old feller's original spot, but a nice enough place for him to look out on the people of Sheffield.
