Former Residence of Zhou Enlai in Shanghai

The memorial hall of the former site of the CPC delegation in Shanghai, because Mr. Zhou Enlai worked and lived here, often called Zhou Mansion, a small three-story bungalow, a lush yard, and the display in the museum let people travel through the revolutionary era.

During the negotiations between 1946 and 1947, Zhou Enlai worked and lived here, and hosted the special envoy of the United States President Marshall here, exchanged views with representatives of the Kuomintang government and Huang Yanpei, and held a press conference between China and foreign countries.

Shanghai Zhou Mansion, the former site of the Communist Party of China's office in Shanghai, is located at No. 73 and No. 71, Sinan Road, Shanghai. During the negotiations between 1946 and 1947, Zhou Enlai worked and lived here, and hosted the special envoy of the US president, Marshall, exchanged views with representatives of the Kuomintang government, Wu Tiecheng, and Shen Yanru and Huang Yanpei, and held a press conference between China and foreign countries. It was officially opened to the public from September 1, 1986. In October 2019, it was listed in the eighth batch of key cultural relics protection units nationwide.
