Superb remnant from the distant past
It dates from the 13th century and was instigated by the Almohad Caliphate. Interestingly it was connected by the city wall to the nearby beautiful Torre del Oro. It had fallen into some dereliction...
Victory Tower
This tower was built in the 13th century. It has an Octoganal shape and it was linked to the city wall. Later Ferdinand lll renamed it Victory Tower but the old name is still popular.

Sat on the bank of the river it looks like it is a tower that was part of the towns fortifications way back when but renovated. A nice sight along the river.
