Pleasingly no steps are required to climb the tower - instead there are paved ramps (35 or so) which make it a relatively easy and pleasant experience.

Reasons to Recommend:Definitely worth a visit - the cathedral itself is very impressive and vast. Do walk along the perimeter and explore the various rooms which come off it. If you simply explore the central part of the building you will miss these; I suggest you come back to this after.
