The scenery was very beautiful. I could see the island from above. Since it was a climb, it was good to be able to climb while interacting with nature. There are a lot of greenery.

It is an observatory overlooking the cityscape of Kojinya. Take off National Highway ５８ and drive up the mountain road for about １５ to arrive. From the observatory, you can see the Oshima Strait, Kakeroma Island, Shiki Island and Yoji Island. It is a place where you can truly feel the beauty of Tajima. And this observatory is famous as a sunset spot. On the day I visited, it was cloudy and I couldn't see the perfect sunset. Still, I am satisfied to be able to see the Amami Islands illuminated by the sunset!
