Danqing Yaowang Holy Mountain, located in Jiaxiu Village between Seda County and Larung Gorge College, is the sacred mountain where Shanjian, one of the three fundamental protectors of Nyingmapa, is located. Shanjian Dharma protector, Tibetan Shangyen Dorje Lepa, means the incarnation of Vajrasattva who has vowed to be good and Vajrasattva, and can protect the achievements of worldly undertakings by praying sincerely. Yaowang Mountain is covered with colorful prayer flags, which are easy to spot when passing by. It is said that this mountain has magical effects. The water flowing on the mountain can cure diseases, and even the flowers and plants can be used as medicine.
