A Magnificent Waterfall
Its a bit out of the way but well worth the short trip from Sakata City. The sheer rock face and the height of the waterfall and the small gorge its located in make this an ideal place to relax.

It is the most heady waterfall in Yamagata Prefecture. There is a mound and an eastern house at the entrance of the promenade, and you can see Mt. Chokai beautifully. Parking is also maintained. As soon as you follow the promenade, there is a shrine, and the back is the Takimi area. ６０ It is powerful with a direct waterfall that exceeds meters. Autumn leaves are recommended.

A short walk from the parking lot will see the waterfall. Perhaps negative ions are occurring, you will be healed by the nature and the sound of water around you. I would like to see the waterfall lit up someday.
