Nice place to have a stroll around!

We visited in September and to go into the grounds and castle, it has to be weekends only. But you can walk right around the outer walkway of the castle walls, but the last bit is on a wall that drops...

If your into recent history then worth a visit

One of two towers in this town strategically sited to defend the harbour from a sea bourne attack and well worth a walk around and up and down

    A impressive structure, perfectly preserved

    Original Text

In the 17th century, the fortress defended the coast from the enemies, today people walk around it, and goats are on the walls. I recommend to sit on the edge of the promenade and look at the sea: The landscape is amazing.
