Enjoy the walk along the river from the town center to the caste remains. Once you arrive there is a small sign detailing the history of the castle. You can walk onto the mound and have a look around....
Not so much to see or do here
The city of Ribe did not really excite me too much. It is a nice town, but no real exciting things. The church is worth visiting, and it is nice to stroll along. To go all the way to the fortress migh...
Queen Dagmar
It's only a short distance to walk from the town centre and worth a visit. You have a nice view over Ribe and there's a lovely statue of Queen Dagmar. You can follow the Energistien from there which...
Best on a sunny day
There isn't much of the castle left mostly earthworks and a most. However the reason to go is the statue of the aQueen looking out for her husband coming home....he didn't make it as she died in child...
Worth visiting the statue and a nice view on Ribe
It is only a few minutes walk from the old town centre and definitely worth visiting to see the statue of queen Dagmar. Also a nice panoramic view on Ribe.
