Museum of Ras Al Khaimah

The Ras Al Khaimah National Museum was built in the mid-18th century during the emirate's invasion by the Persians, and was the seat of the royal family until 1964. In 1987, the late Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Qasim founded the museum, which houses many relics of local ancient civilizations and archaeological and ethnic artifacts.
