The Guanglv Sanniang Bay project is located in the Sanniang Bay Scenic Area in Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, which is one of the important habitats of the Chinese white dolphin and is therefore known as the hometown of the Chinese white dolphin. The Chinese white dolphin is a protected animal in my country and is known as the "Giant Panda of the Sea". The Sanniang Bay Scenic Area not only has rich natural resources, but also has a scientific research team led by Professor Pan, who has been dedicated to the research and protection of the Chinese white dolphins in Sanniang Bay for more than 20 years. In the Beibu Gulf, the population of Chinese white dolphins has increased from less than 100 in 2004 to more than 300, making it the only population among the four major populations that is increasing in number. In addition, the white dolphins in the Beibu Gulf are significantly different from other populations along the Chinese coast, including body color, dorsal ridges, skull and other body shapes, and have some unique genotypes that only exist in this population.
