Lingshan Scenic Area

Lingshan Natural Scenic Area is located in the northwest of Mentougou in the west of Beijing, 122 kilometers away from the capital. It is the roof of Beijing. It is adjacent to Zhuolu County in Hebei Province in the north; adjacent to Longmen Forest Park in the west; connected with Longmenjian Scenic Area in the east; and connected with National Highway 109 in the south. Due to the altitude, Lingshan has formed a natural scenic spot in Beijing, which integrates fault mountains, folded mountains, steep peaks, and infinite flowers within a radius of 25 square kilometers. The natural landscape here is unique, the climate is unpredictable in summer, and the mountains are surrounded by clouds and mists. Lingshan has a short frost-free period, and the climate changes in the four seasons vary greatly from that of the capital. It presents a unique climate with short spring and autumn and long winter and summer. The difference between the daily temperature and the capital is 10-12 degrees Celsius. The vegetation of Lingshan also changes with the rise of altitude. There are both warm temperate vegetation and relative vegetation in the cold regions of Siberia.
