Nantai Wofoshan Scenic Area

The natural Buddha of Nantai Wofo Mountain is located in the northeast of Shizheng Town, Pingyuan County, 840 meters above sea level. It is the world's first natural Buddha with a lifelike natural image. The Buddha is 5,200 meters long and spans two provinces. The Buddha's body is in Guangdong and the Buddha's feet extend into Jiangxi. It is the world's first natural Buddha found so far. Looking from the east to the west, it looks like a Buddha looking at the sky and laughing at the sky; while looking from the south, it looks like a lion and a tiger, majestic and powerful. Nantai Wofo Mountain is one of the eight famous scenic spots in eastern Guangdong. There are nine temples in the area, including Wuxian Temple, Lvdi Temple, Baiyun Temple, Qingshan Temple, Jinsu Temple, Lehu Temple, Longquan Temple, Shengjiao Rock, and Shizi Rock. It is an excellent place for tourists to climb and explore, paint and photograph, travel by ecology, and relax and exercise.
