Stiff climb
Climbed up here mid morning in 28C heat but it was worth it. The chateau sits high above the village (which has some great shops - especially like the Reuse one). Still having reconstruction work done...
At the top of the rock
It is a pity that there are only ruins of the old castle, faced with a rocky risk, on a small river.

Penne is a very painting village. It deserves to visit it, in my opinion,the most beautiful in the area. We don't enter the castle since we didn't carry money, the entry is €5 per adult. It meets us ...
