I‘m giving it a 5 star for the vibes on the outside. This building is iconic, it stands at the top of the city looking truly majestic. Sitting on the steps outside there was an abundance of buskers and people. The vibes with the music were just on point! When inside, it was still amazing architecturally, a very beautiful building of course. But the admission ticket was a bit expensive and the gift shop also didn’t feel super authentic. But what would you expect from a major tourist attraction?

Although Notre Dame is undergoing renovations, this is the iconic church in Paris. It has a great view in the outdoor space. During our visit, it was near the winter solstice and it was amazing to witness one of the latest sunrises in the city, with smoke coming out of the chimneys, clear and crisp. Climbing those steps is a complete leg and cardio exercise! If you have an older entourage, be sure to help him/her and rest on the way! There is a memorable gift shop in the church. Unfortunately, no photos are allowed indoors, but that didn’t affect our experience.
The Sacred Heart Church is located in the Montmartre Heights of Paris. The church is unique in style, both Roman and Byzantine. The interior of the bell tower is square, with a large bell called the Sava clock, weighing 19 tons, and is one of the world famous bells. The church has three arched doors. The top of the gate is flanked by two statues of horse riding, one of King St. Louis. The other is Joan of France, the national heroine. It was built in 1876 and completed in 1919, and was built with donations from all the faithful of France. There are many reliefs, murals and mosaic mosaics inside the church. The attractive place is Montmartre Square, the most artistic place in Paris. From when it began, it became an open-air studio, where many young painters sketched. You can use the subway monthly ticket to take the mountaineering cable car.
