The museum is located on the ground floor of the Cathedral and occupies the two chapter rooms; the Gothic room built in the 14th century and the Baroque room, which dates back to the 18th century. A collection of Gothic sculptures, paintings and silver smithery as well as Baroque sculptures and silver smithery are very nice and you should not give it a miss. The cathedral museum is on the left hand side just after you have entered from the ticket office.

Palma centre is very beautiful! I visited Palma cathedral and the surrounding area. Perfect for solo traveler’s or a the friend and family. The old town is very picturesque with the old streets and buildings around. Palma cathedral is one not to miss! There are lots of lovely independent shops along the main tourist paths. Various bars and restaurants to stop off at throughout the day. The interior decoration is mainly Baroque and most of its dates back to the 17th and 18th centuries. The altarpieces in its 16 side chapels, the most famous one is the Corpus Christi altarpiece by Jaume Blanquer, representing the Last Supper. Visitors also come to see the world's largest Gothic rose window with a diameter of 13.8 meters, that was built in the 16th century with 1236 glass pieces.

You can also see the back of the central rose window, consisting of 1115 coloured pieces of glass. The climb is hard, but you will be rewarded with the city of Palma from all angles, such as Beliver Castle or Almudaina Palace, you can make it

The cathedral is 121 meters long, 55 meters wide It's a must visit, it's impossible to miss this imposing golden sandstone building: it is one of Europe tallest Gothic structures, perched above Parc de la Mar and a superb sight for those arriving by sea.
