The last stop of our stay on the Gold Coast was Cape Burnley National Park, with a few trails on this small horn that even my older partner could do. We parked our car in the free parking at the end of Goodwin Terrace and went on the road. We went up the mountain, after a short and steep staircase, up a sealed ramp with three observation decks along the way. We walked slowly because it took my companion 15 minutes to reach Tumgum. There were three or four benches along the way, and large stones to sit on. It would be nice to go for a walk to the beach if there was more time. Parking near Cape Belley is chargeable, except for free parking near the NP entrance, parking is limited and charged. It is a very popular destination.

A place that is very suitable for vacation, it feels a little less than other places. The sea view is invincible. The sea is blue and crystal clear. The sand on the beach is very delicate. It is very comfortable to walk on it.
We did a short hike around the coast which was one of the most beautiful hiking places I have ever experienced. It’s not a big national park and doesn’t need to walk very far, but I definitely recommend it if you want to do something in the area.
