The Palanga Amber Museum is located in the famous coastal city of Palanga, Lithuania, and is the branch of the Lithuanian Museum of Art. It is located in the 19th century rebuilt Tikeviiai Palace surrounded by the beautiful Palanga Botanical Garden. The museum is the largest of many amber museums in the Baltic Sea, with about 28,000 ambers in the museum, of which 15,000 contain insects, spiders or plants. About 4,500 pieces are on display, most of them artwork and amber jewelry.
