Not a tourist temple.
Original Text
A small temple near Otsu station. If there is no stone monument at the entrance, you will mistake it for an ordinary private house. The gate is also closed, so it's not worth a visit.
It is a temple of the Jodo Shinshu Honganji school, but it seems that it is mistaken for an ordinary private house without a stone pillar. I happened to have a business in the direction of Lake Biwa, so I stopped by on the way, but if I want to visit only such a temple at a long distance, it will be a waste of time.
Do you know "Eisenji"? It is a temple of the Jodo Shinshu Honganji school in Kyomachi, Otsu City. It looks like a popular temple rather than a tourist temple. However, the mountain gate is good, and the upper floor is characterized. I was walking around Kyocho and stopped by.
A Jodo Shinshu Honganji school temple built around Chuo 2-chome, Otsujimachi-dori. It was founded during the Tensho era (1573 ~ 1592), and it is said that it was originally the Tendai sect. There is no image of a temple just because the nameplate of the temple name is hung at the entrance of an ordinary private house. It is not a temple to visit.
Even though it is a temple, it is just a private house. It looks like a private house, but there is a nameplate on the entrance style without even displaying the mountain gate, and the name of the temple was written on it. Without this, it was impossible to recognize even a temple. On TripAdvisor, word of mouth contributors fill in 5 stage evaluation, but this is beyond "very bad". I don't think it's necessary to visit in my personal impressions.

It's like a normal temple.
