The Saxonyhausen concentration camp in Oranienburg, north of Berlin, is the most well-known concentration camp in the Greater Berlin region, operating in 1936 1945 (the first Nazi concentration camp was the Dart camp in the suburbs of Munich, which began operations in 1933). The area of the existing concentration camp is small, and it takes about1.5 – 2.5 hours to visit. It depends on how much inhumane guided tours you can endure. Although the horror level should not be as good as the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland,...Visiting the concentration camp is never a good experience.
