Royal Palace of Olite

The castle was built between 1406 and 1424, during which the owner changed several times, and the castle added a lot of towers there. It is generally French Gothic in its towers, windows and balconies, but incorporates many other areas of decorative art, plaster sculptures, painted tiles, stained glass and gilded plaid ceilings. The floor and walls are covered with carpets and tapestries. An elaborate irrigation system maintains the water demand for the castle courtyards in the hot summers of Spain, among the orange trees, grapefruit trees, lemon trees and jasmine. There was also a zoo where lions, giraffes, African buffalo and lizards were kept. Outside the Queen's room, there was a garden 20 meters from the ground, surrounded by beautiful and exquisite corridors.

The castle was the palace of King Navarra in the 14th century, and was expanded in the 15th century to become the official palace of King Navarra, the most luxurious palace in Europe at the time.
