Nice little museum
Nice little museum in Old Fort. Explores the history of mountain life around Old Fort. The best part is that it is free. It has a couple of cabins set up by a pretty creek

House and grounds filled with artifacts, fun facts, and lots to see and discover. The house is two stories and touches on several important aspects in North Carolina's history.

A small but carefully curated museum. Interesting displays inside plus two period cabins outside. Nice setting on the river with space for a picnic if you desire
