The temple which opened by an old Japanese emperor

It is the first temple in Oki island and it built in 8th century by a Japanese emperor at the time. It's located next to the Mo-Mo dome and visitors pay for entrance fee.

I put it in for free because I was absent.

    Original Text

I moved from Tamawakazumei Shrine, but there was a large parking lot right next to it. During the Oki Buddha Abolition turmoil, all temples in Oki were destroyed by fire, and the main hall was destroyed in 2007, so an investigation was conducted from 2009 to 2013, and remains and relics were discovered. And in 2018, this new discovery seems to have expanded the scope of national designation. At the mountain gate, there was a temple crest that combines 11 chrysanthemum crest and paulownia crest, which was unusual. There was a place to pay the admission fee in front of the mountain gate. There is the site of Emperor Godaigo's residence in the precincts.

    Original Text

The main hall has been newly rebuilt and there is nothing to extend to the ancient Kokubunji Temple. There is the site of Emperor Go-Daigo's residence in the precincts, which is a highlight. There is also a lotus hall where you can watch a video of the lotus dance inside. It's 7 minutes. At this temple, an entrance fee of 400 yen is required at the mountain gate.
