Ogawa-machi's major attraction
Other than golfers and trekkers, most folks who come to Ogawa-machi make their way to the Saitama Traditional Crafts Center. Even the Emperor and Empress have come. It's many things rolled into one: ...
Along National Highway 254. It is located on the roadside station Ogawamachi premises. Admission is free from Reiwa 3 Year 4 Mon 1 Day. Traditional handicrafts designated by Saitama Prefecture are exhibited about 30 items, and the kinds of dolls such as Koshigaya Hina dolls and Tokorozawa dolls are especially spectacular.
When I went to Ku 々, the poppy was blooming beautifully! !! Today, I also had a rose party and it was very nice to smell the rose. It seems that you can also experience making Japanese paper, so why not take one as a commemoration! ??
It is a building that collects traditional Saitama crafts. The admission fee is 300 yen. Gyoda no, Tabi, Iwatsuki dolls, etc. were collected and exhibited in one place, but there is little explanation as those traditional crafts, and only items are displayed. Even though I paid the admission fee, there was a space for cat print exhibitions and shichihoyaki exhibitions. I feel like I'm falling over.
You can exhibit traditional crafts from Saitama prefecture such as Hina dolls, experience hand-made Japanese paper, which is a specialty of Ogawa Town, and experience making crafts using Japanese paper. You can enter the Crafts Village Bussankan in the same building for free, so if you want to purchase it, please use this.

The paper making corner is spectacular.
