Here's to the Ponies!
Laura, the Pony manager for the Park Service is just the best! She is "Essential" in all senses. Even so, fingers crossed that the Gov will not shut down soon. Also, all my best to all the Gals.

Some of the ponies were out!! I really enjoyed it being an animal lover my boys on the other hand thought it was boring ! We stayed about 10 mins before we left to go catch the ferry!

Stop and look
There is free parking and you just walk up a few steps to see the ponies. It’s a easy stop for the kids to see the animals, and to stretch your legs.
