The red-topped white wall of the Mediterranean town 100 kilometers away from Lisbon is surrounded by low mountains and is known as the "romantic wedding holy place". The story of the town also has its own legendary romance. It was originally just a Moorish village after the Portuguese occupation. The king gave it as a birthday gift. Obidos, north of Lisbon, was once ruled by the Moors and ancient Rome, leaving many historic buildings special in the 12th century, when the king loved to give it to the queen, and thus became the town of Obidos after that the queens inherited it. Santa Maria Church is the holy place where the king and queen marry. The stone road circled and led us to the city gate. The beautiful white background and blue flower painted tiles were very eye-catching. Climbing up the walls around the castle, you can climb up the main street. The main street is full of souvenirs. Obidos is very popular with tourists because of the beautiful scenery.

The romantic wedding site of Obidus, located in the small town of Obidus, 100 kilometers north of Lisbon, was a wedding gift from the Portuguese king to the queen. It is a well-preserved medieval ancient city and undoubtedly the most classical wall-building colony in Portugal. After the village was recaptured from the Moors in 1282, the Portuguese king generously gave it to his wife, his beloved Isabel, as a wedding gift. It remained the private property of the Portuguese queen until 1834. Today, its walls, cobbled paths and 14th-century quaint features make Obidos the most romantic place in Portugal.
