It`s not a proper monument but more of a tourist attaraction as Jules Verne never really travelled in Russia, leave alone Nizhny Novgorod, anyways, the place gives an excellent view for panoramic pic...

The monument is beautiful, but bear in mind that with children from the embankment it will be necessary to rise to a decent mountain, although equipped with steps and children's playgrounds.
