Nishiokibe Village Folk Museum is a facility where you can learn about the history of Hokkaido development. You can easily stop by because it is available for free. I feel uncomfortable in an unmanned facility. It's in a difficult place to understand, so you can't get there unless you know it as a destination.

The reception is unmanned although the lights are on. When I stepped into the hall, the lights were automatically turned on and I was able to see local materials and exhibits. The history of the development of this area and Hokkaido was read from the exhibit materials, and it became a place that was more impressive than I expected.
