    It's a small hermitage.

    Original Text

It is one of the four towers of the monks of Kokujoji Temple. It is located on the hillside of Mt. Kokujo. It's pretty hard to get there. The current hermitage was rebuilt in 1914, but it is quite quiet.

    Five rice every day

    Original Text

I don't know how to get there from Kokujoji Temple, so once you drive down the mountain, head towards the sea a little, head toward Honkakuin, and climb a narrow road, you will find a parking lot at the end. From there, if you climb the stairs on the approach, you will find a small hermitage on your left, which is Gogoan. The origin of the name is that Manen Shonin was given Gogo rice every day, and it has nothing to do with Ryokan. Unfortunately the door was closed because I visited in winter. There is a suspension bridge nearby, very beautiful ...
