#japantrip
My visit to Nikkō Tōshō-gū Shrine was a jaw-dropping experience! This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a masterpiece of Japanese architecture, with opulent decorations and intricate carvings that left me speechless. The shrine's striking gold leaf adornments glimmered in the sunlight, creating a sense of majesty and reverence. As I explored the sprawling complex, I discovered tranquil gardens, ancient artifacts, and historic relics, each telling a story of Japan's rich cultural heritage. The sheer scale and beauty of this Shinto shrine is humbling, and its designation as a National Treasure is well-deserved. If you're seeking a glimpse into Japan's spiritual and artistic soul, Nikkō Tōshō-gū Shrine is an absolute must-visit!
As it has been one of the World Heritage, this place will not let you down .The architecture and details of the temple and shrine is very beautiful and mesmerizing.Currently it is autumn in Japan and time for seeing momiji, Nikko is well known for its beauty in autumn.I recommend to go there if you come to Japan in Autumn.
Dongzhao Palace is located in the foothills of Nikko Mountain (also known as Nikko Lianshan, consisting of Men's Mountain, Nvfeng Mountain and Taro Mountain). The architectural style is "Right Present" and "Gossip", which is to use a large number of stone as the foundation and then cooperate with wooden structure; The structure of the former and the latter two buildings is the structure of the former and the latter, which means that the entire Dongzhao Palace has the distinction of the front and rear (inner) halls in addition to stone as the foundation. The social style of Dongzhao Palace is the official currency society of the other, and the routine sacrifice dates are May 17 and May 18 every year. The temple is also next to the temple of the Wheel and the Nikko Erhuangshan Shrine, known as the "Nikko Shrine and the Temple". It is included in the World Heritage List as part of the "Nikko Shrine and the Temple".
The Nikko Tozawa Palace, located in Hemu Prefecture, is the main society, the main sacrifice society is Tozawa Daquan, built in honor of Tokugawa family! It is Japan's world cultural heritage, there are various festivals every year, and it always feels like a holiday to come here!
Very magnificent place, worth a lifetime visit
A relatively cold Japanese shrine, with a history of up to 400 years, Dongzhao Palace is very magnificent, many places made of ancient wood, very spectacular.
