The Oculus

An interesting bit of architecture to check out if you’re downtown. There’s not much to see inside, so make sure to take a walk around outside for the best views.

The Oculus is a truly inspiring attraction in New York City. It is indeed a stunning architectural masterpiece that serves as a transportation hub and shopping mall in Lower Manhattan. It also connects to the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, the Survivor Tree and the One World Observatory. Designed by Santiago Calatrava, it resembles a bird being released from a child’s hand. Inside, the Oculus is spacious and bright, with natural light coming through the large skylights. The main hall has a high ceiling and white marble floors that reflect the light.

The shape is like a white peace dove, which sends a message of peace to the world. This is from the hands of the design master. After visiting the 911 museum, it must be here. It is very beautiful.

A wow design building is a must visit for all tourists. Creative and modern design make the building look special.

The Oculus (World Trade Center Mall & Station) is a truly invincible building, and the big white dove symbolizing peace is very popular. However, the panoramic function of no drone or mobile phone can't take the whole picture at all (the first half of my picture is a promotional photo of others 🤣). Anyway, I don't have the ability to take pictures like this scum, so I suggest you walk in and take pictures. The indoor light is also sufficient~

There is no one of the coolest subway stations in New York. The white dove shape is built near the 911 site, and the symbolism is also obvious. From the outside, the area seems to be small. After entering, I found that there is no cave, and there are many places to visit. Unfortunately, we just punched in a hurry, did not go shopping carefully inside, the photos were not good, looking forward to returning next time!
